Focus Features is expected to release their drama CONCLAVE on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on November 26th, 2024. The film world premiered at this year’s Telluride Film Festival before launching in US theaters on October 25th, 2024.

Conclave was directed by Edward Berger and written by Peter Straughan, based on the 2016 novel by Robert Harris. The film stars Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, Sergio Castellitto, and Isabella Rossellini.

In the film, after the unexpected death of the Pope, Cardinal Lawrence is tasked with managing the covert and ancient ritual of electing a new one. Sequestered in the Vatican with the Catholic Church’s most powerful leaders until the process is complete, Lawrence finds himself at the center of a conspiracy that could lead to its downfall.
