Bleecker Street Films will release their late-summer biopic GOLDA on VOD and digital platforms on September 19th, 2023. The film premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and debuted in US theaters on August 25th. It is Bleecker Street’s highest grossing film of the year, having grossed $4.1M to date.

Golda stars Helen Mirren as the former Israeli Prime Minister, and the film is primarily set during the tense 19-day Yom Kippur war of 1973. Guy Nattiv directs, and Liev Schreiber plays Henry Kissinger(!). Some mixed reviews on the film, but most critics praised Mirren’s impressive transformation and performance.
