Apple Studios has set a streaming release date for their Matt Damon heist thriller THE INSTIGATORS, which will debut on Apple TV+ on August 9th, 2024. The film will have a limited theatrical release on August 2nd.

The Instigators was directed by Doug Liman, written by Chuck Maclean and Casey Affleck, and stars Affleck and Matt Damon, who also produces the film alongside Ben Affleck under their production company Artists Equity. The cast is stacked: Hong Chau, Micael Stuhlbarg, Paul Walter Hauser, Ving Rhames, Alfred Molina, Toby Jones, and Jack Harlow co-star.

In the film, a botched robbery causes two thieves to go on the run, dragging along one of their therapists in the process.
