Searchlight Pictures has set a streaming premiere date for their dark comedy NIGHTBITCH, which will begin streaming on Hulu on December 27th, 2024. The film world premiered at this year’s Toronto Film Festival before arriving in US theaters in limited release on December 6th, 2024.

Nightbitch is written and directed by Marielle Heller, based on the 2021 novel of the same name by Rachel Yoder. The film stars Amy Adams, Scoot McNairy, Arleigh Snowden, Emmett Snowden, Mary Holland, Ella Thomas, Archana Rajan, and Jessica Harper.

In the film, a woman, thrown into the stay-at-home routine of raising a toddler in the suburbs, slowly embraces the feral power deeply rooted in motherhood, as she becomes increasingly aware of the bizarre and undeniable signs that she may be turning into a dog.

The release date was posted on the Hulu app. No word yet if the film will be offered for rental or sale on VOD and digital. We’ll post as soon as we have any news.
