Acclaimed Animated Adventure FLOW Gets Digital Streaming Release Date

Janus Films and Sideshow are expected to release their acclaimed Latvian animated film FLOW on VOD and digital platforms early next year, arriving on January 7th, 2025. The film world premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and launched in US theaters on November 22nd, 2024.

Flow (Latvian: Straume) is directed by Gints Zilbalodis and written by Zilbalodis and Matīss Kaža. The film has won numerous film and animation awards, including the Best Animated Film at the European Film Awards, the New York Film Critics Circle, the National Board of Review, and just today, the LA Film Critics Association.

In the film, a solitary cat, displaced by a great flood, finds refuge on a boat with various species and must navigate the challenges of adapting to a transformed world together.
