A24’s horror thriller HERETIC has set an SVOD streaming premiere date, arriving on Max on March 7th, 2025. The film world premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival before launching in US theaters on November 8th, 2024. It debuted on PVOD on December 10th, 2024.

The film will also debut on HBO’s linear channel on SATURDAY, MARCH 8th at  8:00 p.m. ET. 

Heretic was written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, and stars Hugh Grant, Sophie Thatcher, and Chloe East.

In the film, two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a diabolical Mr. Reed, becoming ensnared in his deadly game of cat-and-mouse.
