A24 has released the first trailer and posters for the upcoming thriller OPUS, which will launch in US theaters on March 14th, 2025. The film is scheduled to world premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

Opus is written and directed by Mark Anthony Green in his feature directorial debut. It stars Ayo Edebiri, John Malkovich, Rosario Dawson, Juliette Lewis, Murray Bartlett, Amber Midthunder, Young Mazino, Stephanie Suganami, and Tony Hale.

In the film, a young writer is invited to the remote compound of a legendary pop star who mysteriously disappeared thirty years ago. Surrounded by the star's cult of sycophants and intoxicated journalists, she finds herself in the middle of his twisted plan.
