The Searchlight Pictures comedy-drama A REAL PAIN is set to make its SVOD debut later this month, arriving on Hulu on January 16th, 2025. The film world premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival before launching in US theaters on November 1st, 2024. It arrived for sale-only on digital on December 31st, 2024.

A Real Pain is written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg and stars Eisenberg, Kieran Culkin, Will Sharpe, Jennifer Grey, Kurt Egyiawan, Liza Sadovy, and Daniel Oreskes. Emma Stone serves as a producer under her Fruit Tree banner.

In the film, mismatched cousins, David and Benji, reunite for a tour through Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when the pair's old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history.

A Real Pain has been nominated for 4 Golden Globe Awards® including Best Picture, Best Actor Jesse Eisenberg, Best Supporting Actor Kieran Culkin and Best Screenplay. The film won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.
