Netflix has set a streaming premiere date and released the official trailer and first-look photos for their shark thriller THRASH, which will launch on their platform on April 10th, 2026. The film was produced by Sony Pictures, and was slated to open in theaters this summer under the title Shiver, but will now go straight to streaming.
Thrash is directed by Tommy Wirkola (Violent Night) and stars Phoebe Dynevor, Djimon Honsou, Whitney Peak, Alyla Browne, Stacy Clausen, Dante Ubaldi, Costa D’Angelo, Amy Mathews, Elijah Ungvary, Jon Prasida, Gemma Dart, Akosia Sabet, Sian Luxford, and Sami Afuni.
In the film, when a Category 5 hurricane decimates a coastal town, the storm surge brings devastation, chaos…and something far more frightening: hungry sharks.
