MARTY SUPREME Gets HBO Max Streaming Premiere Date

The Oscar nominated A24 film MARTY SUPREME is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on HBO Max on April 24th, 2026. The film world premiered as the ‘secret screening’ at the 2025 New York Film Festival before launching in US theaters in limited release on December 19th, 2025. It hit PVOD on February 10th, 2026.

In addition, the film will debut on HBO linear on SATURDAY, APRIL 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Marty Supreme is produced and directed by Josh Safdie, who co-wrote it with Ronald Bronstein. It stars Timothée Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara and Fran Drescher.

The film is a high-energy portrait of obsession, ambition, and self-invention, set against the unlikely world of competitive table tennis. Inspired by real events, the film follows Marty, a volatile and magnetic hustler whose singular drive propels him from the fringes toward greatness…at any cost.

Marty Supreme was nominated for nominated for 3 Golden Globes, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Actor – Musical or Comedy (Chalamet), and Best Screenplay (Safdie and Bronstein). At the Actor Awards, the film was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, plus Best Actor (Chalamet) and Best Supporting Actress (A’zion). Chalamet also won Best Actor at the Critics Choice Awards.

Marty Supreme received nine nominations at the Oscars and eleven at the BAFTAs, but won none at either ceremony.
