NEON is set to release their sci-fi horror drama ALPHA on VOD and digital platforms this week, arriving tomorrow, April 14th, 2026. The film world premiered at 2025 Cannes Film Festival before launching in US theaters on March 27th, 2026.
Alpha is written and directed by Julia Ducournau (Titane), and stars Tahar Rahim, Golshifteh Farahani, Mélissa Boros, Emma Mackey, Finnegan Oldfield and Louai El Amrousy.
In the film, Alpha is a 13-year-old whose world collapses the day she returns from a party with a tattoo on her arm. It prompts others to wonder if she now has a terrifying blood-borne illness that is sweeping through society.
