The Shout! Studios action adventure DEATHSTALKER is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on Shudder on April 3rd, 2026. The film world premiered at last year’s Locarno Film Festival before launching in US theaters on October 10th, 2025. It hit VOD and digital platforms on November 11th, 2025.
Deathstalker is written and directed by Steven Kostanski, and is a remake of the 1983 film of the same name. It stars Daniel Bernhardt as the titular character, alongside Patton Oswalt, Christina Orjalo, Paul Lazenby, and Nina Bergman.
In the film, the Kingdom of Abraxeon is under siege by the Dreadites, heralds of the long-dead sorcerer Nekromemnon. When Deathstalker recovers a cursed amulet from a corpse-strewn battlefield, he’s marked by dark magick and hunted by monstrous assassins. To survive, he must break the curse and face the rising evil. Death is just the beginning… of great adventure!
