The Searchlight Pictures comedy drama IS THIS THING ON? is set to make its SVOD debut later this month, arriving on Hulu on March 20th, 2026. The film world premiered as the closing film of the 2025 New York Film Festival before launching in US theaters on December 19th, 2025. It hit VOD and digital platforms on February 10th, 2026.
Is This Thing On? is directed by Bradley Cooper, who co-wrote the screenplay with Will Arnett and Mark Chappell. It stars Will Arnett, Laura Dern, Andra Day, Bradley Cooper, Amy Sedaris, Sean Hayes, Christine Ebersole, Ciarán Hinds, and Scott Icenogle.
In the film, as their marriage quietly unravels, Alex (Will Arnett) faces middle age and an impending divorce, seeking new purpose in the New York comedy scene, while Tess (Laura Dern) confronts the sacrifices she made for their family – forcing them to navigate co-parenting, identity, and whether love can take a new form.
