Janus Films has quietly launched their epic sci-fi drama RESURRECTION for digital sale, arriving today, March 10th, 2026. It is currently only available for sale on the Apple TV digital platform, so it’s either an exclusive, or a mistake. Buy it while you can! The landing page indicates it will be available for digital rental on March 24th, 2026.
Resurrection is written and directed by Bi Gan, and stars Jackson Yee, Shu Qi, Mark Chao, Li Gengxi, Huang Jue, Chen Yongzhong, Zhang Zhijian, Chloe Maayan, Yan Nan, and Guo Mucheng. The film world premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Prix Spécial, and launched in US theaters in limited release on December 12th, 2025.
In the film, in a world where humanity has lost the ability to dream, one creature remains entranced by the fading illusions of the dreamworld. This monster, adrift in reverie, clings to visions no one else can see — until a woman appears. Gifted with the rare power to perceive these illusions for what they truly are, she chooses to enter the monster’s dreams, determined to uncover the truth that lies hidden within.
