THE GARFIELD MOVIE Gets Netflix Streaming Premiere Date

Sony Pictures’ THE GARFIELD MOVIE is set to make its SVOD debut later this month, arriving on Netflix on September 21st, 2024. The film launched in US theaters on May 24th, 2024, before debuted on PVOD on June 9th.
The Garfield Movie is based on the comic strip Garfield created by Jim Davis. Directed by Mark Dindal from a screenplay by Paul A. Kaplan, Mark Torgove, and David Reynolds, the film stars Chris Pratt as the voice of the titular character, alongside the voices of Samuel L. Jackson, Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Harvey Guillén, Brett Goldstein, Bowen Yang, and Snoop Dogg.
In the film, Garfield, the world-famous, Monday-hating, lasagna-loving indoor cat, is about to have a wild outdoor adventure! After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father – scruffy street cat Vic – Garfield and his canine friend Odie are forced from their perfectly pampered life into joining Vic in a hilarious, high-stakes heist.
