Searchlight Pictures Releases First Teaser for New Yorgos Lanthimos KINDS OF KINDNESS

Searchlight Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming Yorgos Lanthimos film KINDS OF KINDNESS, which will launch in US theaters on June 21st, 2024.

Kinds of Kindness was directed by Yorgos Lanthimos from a screenplay he co-wrote with Efthimis Filippou. It stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer. Lanthimos has described Kinds of Kindness as a contemporary film, set in the US – three different stories, with four or five actors who play one part in each story.

Kinds of Kindness is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.
