Netflix Unveils Official Trailer, Poster for Richard Linklater’s HIT MAN

Netflix has released the official trailer and poster for their upcoming action comedy HIT MAN, which will debut in US theaters in limited release on May 24th, 2024, before streaming on Netflix on June 7th, 2024. The film world premiered at the 2023 Venice International Film Festival.

Hit Man was produced and directed by Richard Linklater, who co-wrote the screenplay with Glen Powell. It is based on the 2001 Texas Monthly magazine article of the same name by Skip Hollandsworth. The film stars Powell, Adria Arjona, Austin Amelio, Retta, Molly Bernard, and follows a mild-mannered professor moonlighting as a fake contract killer, who sparks a chain reaction of trouble when he falls for a client.
