Biopic WIDOW CLICQUOT Gets Netflix Streaming Premiere Date

The Vertical Entertainment release WIDOW CLICQUOT is set to make its SVOD debut later this month, arriving on Netflix on November 16th, 2024. The film world premiered at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival before launching in US theaters on July 19th, 2024. It arrived on digital on August 6th, 2024.
Widow Clicquot was directed by Thomas Napper, from a screenplay by Erin Dignam and Christopher Monger based on the book The Widow Clicquot by Tilar J. Mazzeo. It stars Haley Bennett, Tom Sturridge, Sam Riley, Anson Boon, Leo Suter, Ben Miles, and Natasha O'Keeffe.
After her husband's untimely death, Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin Clicquot flouts convention by assuming the reins of the fledgling wine business they had nurtured together. Steering the company through dizzying political and financial reversals, she defies her critics and revolutionizes the champagne industry to become one of the world's first great entrepreneurs.
