Apple Sets Theatrical, Streaming Premiere Dates for Steve McQueen’s War Epic BLITZ

Apple has set theatrical and streaming premiere dates for its upcoming war epic BLITZ, which will receive a limited theatrical release on November 1st, 2024, before streaming on Apple TV+ on November 22nd, 2024. The film will have its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival in October.

Blitz was written and directed by Steve McQueen and stars Saoirse Ronan, Elliott Heffernan in his film debut, Harris Dickinson, Erin Kellyman, Stephen Graham and Paul Weller.

Sir Steve McQueen’s film follows the epic journey of George (Heffernan), a 9-year-old boy in World War II London whose mother Rita (Ronan) sends him to safety in the English countryside. George, defiant and determined to return home to his mom and his grandfather Gerald (Weller) in East London, embarks on an adventure, only to find himself in immense peril, while a distraught Rita searches for her missing son.
